Agitation and calmness residing together in the human psyche in utter complexity is the simplicity of life. What must god be thinking. No, I am not a philosopher and this is not my thesis but I have questions as a human. The complexity of this mind is intriguing to the a pointless fact we summarise. I fail to understand half of the humans I live with despite being from the same species. This is logging into the failure of Human’s approach towards life.

Has this species really come far all the way to growing into a futuristic dreamland where now we can construct skyscrapers on mars. Have we done enough to be victoriously powerful or have we degraded our natural powers and dug a grave for our own selves.

Vulnerability immediately comes to my mind, as I think about my fellow beings including my own self. The question is were we as humans always vulnerable to our surrounds? Or have we have evolved over years to be worse imitations of our own selves ? If patient enough the book Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari can answer half of my questions. It will justify all human actions for there is a reason why we are the way we are. In the era of therapy and blaming our childhood traumas I wonder what would be like for a homoerectus with no cellphones and speedy optic fibbers running through their fingers like that of mine right now. The pursuit of an easier life has resulted in much hardship. Evolution has made us our own worst imitations. Luxury has become a trap. Just like million of years ago farming was. The body of Homo sapiens was not evolved to such tasks. It was adapted to climb trees and run after boars and not to sulk on phones. Thus the neck and the arches paid the price. Even today our brains and kind are adapted to a life of hunting and gathering. A world we still subconsciously still inhibit.

In simpler terms who are we if not wild, bold, tribals held together in group. We seem to have complicated our own lives.

I disagree when people tend to say life is a complex equation we solve but who am I to question their intelligence for once in school I failed to solve a much simpler mathematical equation which read a number > than 3 but < 5 and I proudly wrote 6. You see we can produce the best of the work yet fail at certain tasks miserably. Our rationality is a joke sometimes.I spoke of which in my behavioural economics blog. We as animals had power instincts, genes, traits, characters that made us survive nature. The evolution has lead us now to help us survive fellow humans today.

Let us now in turn come back to how we were meant to be bold, strong and work in clusters for our survival. If today, forget an homo erectus, but even an Australopethecus ( earlier genus of apes) was to look at a teen today it would look at its own evolution with a great disappointment. As lions became deadlier, gazelles adopted to run faster, hyenas cooperated better in contrast humans failed to adjust themselves.

Our minds are capable of things that are unknown to the world even today. Maybe the creator isn’t god but our mind itself. Our brains are fascinating and we have evolved to have killed such immense capability and functions that our mind is capable of performing. We have become nothing but weaker minds that will tend to evolute to even smaller brains.
